About Casa Moya

Welcome to Casa Moya, your tranquil Andalusian hideaway nestled among olive groves and soaring sierras. Here, the pace of life slows. You are invited to breathe deep, wander local trails, and immerse in the beauty and rhythms of rural Spain.

Casa Moya’s Granero (barn conversion) features two beautifully appointed bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, generous living spaces, and sunlit terraces. Whether you’re here to explore Granada, Córdoba, Seville, or simply unwind beside the pool under wide skies — Casa Moya is your perfect base.

We believe in sustainable, responsible travel. Our water systems reuse grey water, solar tubes provide much of our hot water, and your stay helps support our four-acre rewilding project. With each guest, we grow life here — literally.

Living Space

Living Room

The heart of the Granero is the salon and dining area, where rustic charm meets contemporary comfort.
Relax on one of two large sofas beside the feature fireplace and efficient wood burner, perfect for cooler evenings. Enjoy satellite TV with UK Freeview channels, a DVD library, or your favourite playlist through the stereo and Bluetooth connection.

Ambient lighting and handcrafted décor create the ideal setting to unwind, while the terrace doors invite you to step outside, sip coffee and watch the sun rise over the sierras. A dining table and chairs are provided for cosy indoor meals.

Kitchen

Cook at your own pace in Casa Moya’s fully equipped Andalusian-style kitchen with granite worktops and modern appliances.

Bedrooms

Bedroom One

Wake to soft Andalusian light spilling through the terrace doors of Bedroom 1, lovingly known as The Sunrise Suite. Furnished with either a plush double bed or twin configuration on request, this room combines rustic Spanish textures with modern comfort.

  • Private Terrace Access: Step straight outside to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun rises over the olive-covered hills.

  • Ensuite Shower Room: Fully tiled with a shower, basin, WC, towel radiator and extractor fan. A large privacy-glazed window lets in natural light while keeping the space secluded.

  • Comfort & Storage: Double wardrobe, chest of drawers and side tables provide ample space for belongings.

  • Guest Extras: Fluffy bathrobes, toiletries and a hairdryer ensure hotel-style comfort in a homely setting.

Perfect for couples or early risers who love to start the day with golden sunlight and sweeping views.

Bedroom 2

Peaceful and versatile, Bedroom 2 offers flexibility for couples or friends travelling together. It can be arranged as two single beds or a spacious double, tailored to your needs.

  • Tranquil Outlook: A double-glazed privacy-glass window overlooks the surrounding olive groves, keeping the room bright yet cool.

  • Furnishings: Double wardrobe, bedside tables, reading lamps and a chest of drawers blend practicality with traditional Andalusian design.

  • Guest Comforts: Luxury robes, hairdryer and toiletries mirror the comfort of the main suite.

  • Design Notes: Soft neutral tones and natural wood finishes create a restful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Granada, Córdoba or nearby Alcalá la Real.

Outdoor Area

Life at Casa Moya

Casa Moya is best enjoyed outdoors.
Step onto the covered terrace for al-fresco dining on the hardwood table and chairs provided, or lounge on the open sun terrace surrounded by breathtaking mountain views.

Cool off in the natural-stone salt water swimming pool, perfectly positioned to take in the panoramic landscape. With easy access steps and a depth of 1.2 m, it’s ideal for a refreshing dip after a day exploring Andalucía.
